19 projects in DesignFrom project specification, website/graphics design, layout, wireframes, content, responsive and mobile sites, QA, Clarity designed and built a site for LDR to launch and market their newly (more)FDA-approved medical device. The site has already won 3 awards for excellence in Web Design. Clarity built two sites, a desktop-optimized site, which is very graphical and wizard driven for the user with a large enough screen, and a mobile responsive site for those that visit the site via tablet or smart phone. The idea is to have a perfectly tailored user experience no matter the device. (less)

Very well, Clarity lead developer was awesome.
Large, global corporate website with 7 portals in 6 languages.

Raya and her team were entrepreneurs with a dream; To build a site for the college coed to get help and ideas in fashion, design, make-up and most importantly, how to budget. Secure a portal (more), invite through SEO and Social channels and build a community was the roadmap. Clarity designed and built a custom portal for their needs and trained the team on how to optimize the site for both Social and Search Engines to help drive traffic and increase conversions. Built in a short 5 weeks, this site was a fun project for us. (less)
The Schutz Company is the inventor of the LIFO, The Human Element and many other business improvement consulting methods. They came to Clarity to start updating and modernizing their web pro (more)perties, starting with the Life Orientations site, and moving onto multiple others. The site provides a portal that their global LIFO consultants and client alike have a secure login to additional protected training collateral. Done in less than 2 months, this site is both professional, as well as functional. Mobile responsive design provides a great experience across all devices. (less)
Excellent client communication, support, and coaching.
Not much. Each interaction was very timely and supportive. I would recommend them to everyone.
They did an excellent job of communicating to make sure we understood the issue, they understood what we wanted and needed. They explained technical items in terms the layman could understand. They fixed it, then they walked us through trouble shooting tips in case we got in a jam. Finally they alway let us know they were there if we need them.
Two websites www.lifo.co and www.thehumanelement.com, which is still in development.
Shining Star started out as just a custom therapy recruiting portal with a ton of SEO to drive traffic with the goal to hire new therapists. It was so successful, that the site was upgraded (more)into a HIPAA compliant, custom therapist portal as well. A therapist logs in to their company calendar, benefits, PTO and Patient forms, company news, an employee directory, CEU requests, everything to make their company "green" and efficient. Custom integrations for email marketing and time tracking were also done in later phases. (less)

Very committed to our success. Went above the call to insure our needs were met. Spent quality time with us at every point in the process. Huge value in "educating us" in how marketing via our website would work -- made it experience-level based; they didn't overwhelm us.
Reporting. The reports were good, but not great. Seeing information in graphic formats would help. Better clarity on spend to date, and and total spend to date, would be a few areas of improvement
Immediate response from the right levels of the organization.

Being in the hospitality business, MeetingLists.com has been servicing company event data for decades. Now with this data, they've built a new business, selling that data to other hotels loo (more)king to fill their convention and conference rooms. This is a multi-million dollar side-business that came up by just knowing the right information. Next came the big question - how do we serve up, protect and monetize that data? That's where Clarity stepped in and built them a custom, mobile responsive, search-driven, Commerce site to help provide a unique and easy user experience to buy, maintain, and transact their data. Designing and manufacturing medical devices worldwide is what they do. The most difficult task was how to market and support 9 different countries, who approved different devices, spoke dif (more)ferent languages and had their own product management teams to keep happy. That was the task Clarity had. They had to come up with a design and user experience that every country's management team liked, yet was easy enough for them to control and manipulate their own data, products, translations, and much more. Project summary: The client is a global medical equipment designer and distributor that specializes in devices for spinal applications. The client sought a technology partner to redesign and rebuild their primary website. Clarity Ventures was one of several potential vendors to receive a request for proposal from the client, and they were selected as the solution partner based on their demonstrated capabilities. Once commissioned, Clarity Ventures was responsible for the complete site build, which included requirements gathering, project scoping, strategic oversight, custom visual design, backend functional development (JavaScript/DotNetNuke), data preparation and migration, systems integration, hosting and database configuration, information architecture, user interface/user experience and performance testing, training, and support.
Clarity did their best to adjust resources to be able to have someone available around the clock (7 countries from around the world had people working on the project), however, it can add delays in response time, when you're working in a time zone 8 hours off of the vendor.
The client expressed great satisfaction for the work delivered by Clarity Ventures. According to the client, their successfully deployed website received overwhelmingly positive feedback from internal staff and external users alike. Clarity Ventures was praised highly for their methodical approach to development and project management. The client recommends Clarity Ventures to others.
Clarity built a global corporate site, with 7 localized child portals for 7 different countries. Each country's FDA approved different medical devices in each, so each country had to have their own unique portal and products listing. Each portal had to be tied together with a global navigation for corporate information, then make it easy to navigate to your respective country to view the devices approved for implant in each country.

This was a custom eCommerce portal that had to be HIPAA compliant, handle Medicare and Medicaid (insurance) payments, and a custom integration to Tim's ERP out of the Phillipines. The design (more) is custom-tailored to the geriatric crowd, so fonts are over-sized, design is clean, menus are dark/light and all capital letters, product pages have only pricing, one picture and a huge orange button to checkout. The design is made to make it easier for the elderly to quickly find what they need and complete their order. (less)
The client is extremely satisfied with Clarity Ventures. Working with Clarity Ventures has decreased the client's release time for upcoming projects, reduced the number of post-release bugs found in projects, and reduced the time to resolve issues. The client would recommend Clarity Ventures to others.
There have been instances where we might have internally questioned someone in the house that a certain project with Clarity took. Ultimately, we were able to get down to the granular form—look at each individual hour, look at everything that happened. At the end of the day, if Clarity felt that, yes, after their code review and their time review that it did go over budget, they actually made up for that.
As a whole, we’ve been very impressed with the amount of output and work that Clarity’s been able to provide. Previously, whenever we did releases, our customer care center would instantly get a giant influx of calls for different areas of bugs because the previous developers weren’t doing good testing. With Clarity, it’s very rare that we have a post-release bug. If we were to have a post-release bug, oftentimes, those bugs are resolved within about five to six hours. They’re able to release and we’ll be back, fully up and running in a certain area that might be throwing the bugs. We’ve been impressed, and in the times that we’ve had any issue whatsoever with Clarity, they’ve been very open to sit down with us and go through the review process. In the few times that we’ve done it, they’ve actually come in and said, you know, we agree that this wasn’t what it was supposed to be, and they’ve actually credited us for those hours.
We have used in-house development for about 15 or 16 years. We are a small business, so we’ve only ever been able to afford one developer on hand at one time. There have been brief periods where we were able to get a few developers in-house on a short-term basis to ramp up certain software or completely overhaul our software. In the past several years, this company had gone through several ownership transitions. We’ve been under the same owner, but specifically, it was a family-owned business; the family split up the business and gave away different states to their family members. So, this owner got Texas and Ohio; with that transition and knowledge, we’re projecting our growth in the near future. We felt that it would be good to outsource our development. That way, we can get a whole lot more done. We knew the upfront investment would be more than actually having an in-house developer. However, we realized that at any one time, we have a team of developers that can jump and resolve an issue much more quickly. That’s why we opted to go with outsourcing our development and ultimately in our review process, we selected Clarity as our best option for what our company needed.

Twenty months and counting of working with New Haircut. Over that time the client/vendor relationship has become a real partnership. What’s the difference - partnerships are earned through trust and respect. The team as a whole is professional, dedicated, thorough, engaged, creative and the kind of problem solvers you want on your side. Now go away so I can have them to myself.
We had the opportunity to work with New Haircut's team, elbow-to-elbow, for several weeks. In a perfect world, we could have more opportunities (and budget) to work under the same roof because we saw how much more can be accomplished.
There were several instances where we were preparing for a school pilot where New Haircut had to quickly and succinctly deal with issues that only tend to come up during live tests -- they were all handled extremely well.

New Haircut took our idea from "napkin" to product. It is hard to imagine a scenario where our company would be where it is today without their help, hard work, and support, through the good times and the tough times.

Turnaround on the initial project proposals could be a little faster
Quickly and efficiently. We noticed some things that were missed during a round of changes and we were soooo close to the deadline. The NHC team basically worked around the clock to complete the fixes so that we could meet our deliverable date.
I've worked with NHC several times, but the most recent project was a corporate website overhaul with new branding, a couple of cool search tools and a customer portal with downloadable materials
New Haircut is always willing to work with us on meeting our clients' needs--from the intricately complex to the mind-numbingly simple, they get the job done with excellent customer service and responsiveness. It is a pleasure to work with the team because we know that they'll deliver a high quality product that meets the requirements of even the most difficult client.
The team at New Haircut is spread across several time zones. This can sometimes make the turn-around on a quick change a little longer than expected.
I worked closely with the team on a very complicated development project. Problems and issues came up frequently, and they handled the problems with patience and precision.
In particular, the development of the "Find a Product" tool for the SSC website was excruciatingly complicated--requiring several versions of various databases as well as design changes that came up after development. After months of detailed work, they launched the tool and there have been zero issues reported. All of the other websites that we've worked on together have also benefited from the patient attention to detail that New Haircut provides.

They could "push the envelope" a little more on the creativity. They asked for some examples of designs we like, which every design shop does, but sometimes they seemed to use them as design requirements instead of a starting point from which to innovate.
Change requests and bug fixes were handled quickly and transparently. There no time wasted explaining away issues or trying to dissuade us (the customer) b/c they wanted to move on.
New Haircut did a complete redesign and css/html coding for the PeekYou.com home page and blog. They did the entire design and css/html coding for our PeopleCheckPro website.

FullStack created a very powerful application in a relatively short amount of time. Working with FullStack has exceeded our expectations in every way. The team has been an absolute joy to work throughout the duration of this project. However, we felt so good about the value that FullStack was contributing to this project and our company on a daily basis that we decided to keep the team involved. There are many reasons why we love working with the BlueLabel Team. However, the top 3 are: 1. Personal touch: The team works closely with you during development. They give you genuine feedback about your apps design even if it might result in lower development costs. The team was our technical mentor. Going out of their way they took the time to explain to us in detail, the technical design and architecture of the App. 2. Availability & Communication: Reaching the BlueLabel team is simply a IM message away. The founders and project managers were always there to answer and questions or concerns that we raised. Our project manger would reach out to us periodically and made sure that outstanding items were addressed. 3. Timeliness: When we had concerns, the team would get back to us almost instantaneously. Responses were quick and concise.

They tackled it immediately and worked with us to find a solution. In some occasions, they gave discounted a monthly statement to account for additional development costs which were above the estimated costs. When the solution was critical, priority was given and bugs were fixed the next day. Our project manager would reach out and ensure that all our concerns were addressed before moving forward.

Design and quality exceeded my expectations. I wanted a clean, minimalist design for this game and the team executed very well on that. Word Hack is a simple game on the surface, but I had complicated requirements for intricate gameplay mechanics and user retention strategies. The Blue Label Labs team was able understand all these requirements, added a few great suggestions of their own, and delivered a high-quality app that works very well--even to this day with minimal updates.
I can’t really think of anything. The project team was great. Quality and execution was great. Communication was great. Attention to detail and constructive feedback was above and beyond.
Very well. Communication with the team was great. They made me aware of issues or obstacles early. An issue was always immediately presented with optional solutions, with budget and time impacts and tradeoffs clearly outlined. I appreciated this a lot.
Blue Label Labs worked with me to design, develop, market and monetize a mobile game called Word Hack. Word Hack is a word puzzle game, a cross between hangman and Wheel of Fortune. Word Hack reached #3 in the Word Game category in the US App Store upon launch.

We were challenged with designing and developing a corporate (more)website that would meet the exacting demands of Plania’s audience (mainly larger organizations within real estate/property management, manufacturing and industrial providers within the facility management vertical). Main objective of the new site was to clearly communicate Plania's vision and educate visitors (both new and existing customers) in their products, solutions and its benefits. The new Plania site features a bold, visual and informative design that support content driven marketing. Built with the powerful and user-friendly Django, the site makes easy for the Plania team to edit and update content. Finally, we have integrated Web to Lead Form (an essential component of marketing and sales automation) from Salesforce, Plania's CRM tool, for all the forms used on the website. Also, Solr application helped us to improve on-site search results as well as find and display related content much faster, avoiding expensive database queries. (less)

I am very satisfied with their partnership with Merixstudio. We highly recommend Merixstudio for their professionalism and ability to create an innovative and high-quality product while sticking to strict deadlines.
Merixstudio was part of a huge project. They developed the landing page in Polish and in English. Merixstudio created the concept of the website, prepared mockups, and designed the landing page. The site was made fully responsive and was developed using HTML5 and Parallax, a type of animation that gave the illustrations a more vivid look on the page. The landing page that was created was one of the greatest in the e-book market and maybe book market in general.
The site uses modern web technologies, including Pixi.js, a lightweight 2D rendering library that helped us animate objects in background.
We published "The Old Axolotl," an e-book novel by Jacek Dukaj, the fastest-selling science fiction author. The book is available exclusively through our website. We wanted to develop a large promotional campaign for the book and for our new product category – e-books. We needed a developer to help us with the online campaign. The idea was to create a landing page for the e-book that included a lot of illustrations from the book. The purpose of the landing page was purely promotional.
We thought it's time to sprinkle a little unconventional Christmas card in 2014. "Polish Christmas: interactive guide" is a horizontal scrolling, visually rich, illustration-driven HTML5 (more)journey explaining Christmas traditions in Poland. Our goal was to educate users (including our foreign clients) about traditional Polish Christmas celebrations. We've come up with a highly interactive and engaging scrolling site full of fun, SVG animated graphics. Interactive Christmas experience ends with a incentive to support Nobody’s Children Foundation that's helping out abused children. The site was by visited by 100k users and nominated for internet awards: Awwwards (Honorable Mention), CSS Design Awards, CSS Winner, CSS Light, CSS Author, One Page Love (Most Loved). The Juilliard School is a New York based performing arts conservatory established in 1905. The School schedules several hundred events each year. Our role involved back-end (Django) impl (more)ementation as well as front-end coding work based on provided design concept. The objective of the new calendar include facilitating the user experience by allowing users from any device to very easily navigate the site to find performances among all the offerings that suit their taste and taking actions to obtain tickets or share the event with others As part of an effort to improve attendance at the events and to gain deeper insight into the audience, an online event ticketing system (Spektrix) has been implemented. Event data from the calendar has been syndicated to other outlets including Web calendars, digital feeds, paper reports and on-campus digital signage systems. Finally, with the new calendar we improved back-end functionality allowing for more efficient content management. Post-launch results: "Since implementing the new calendar, we experienced a 25 percent increase in ticket sales and a 10 percent increase in traffic on our website." - said chief technology officer of the school. The client is very satisfied with their partnership with Merixstudio. They highly recommend Merixstudio for their organization and great overall development skills. "I thought the Merixstudio team was great. The new calendar has been very well received by the public and the people who use it on the back-end. They're a very skilled group of developers."
We were looking to build a new public events calendar that was integrated deeply into an online ticketing system.
The objective of the new calendar include facilitating the user experience by allowing users from any device to very easily navigate the site to find performances among all the offerings that suit their taste and taking actions to obtain tickets or share the event with others. Post-launch results: "Since implementing the new calendar, we experienced a 25 percent increase in ticket sales and a 10 percent increase in traffic on our website."
Merixstudio wan involved in a complete end-to-end project. They took care of everything from the back-end to the front end of the calendar, using Django. This involved API [application programming interface] integration, user authentication functionalities, and single sign-on integration. They also integrated Spektrix, an e-commerce functionality, into the calendar that allows users to buy tickets through the platform.
Our main responsibility was to create a website that is fully responsive and compliant with the client’s specific guidelines. In result, we created an interactive and unconventional corp (more)orate website that highlights the unique nature of the company. Creative process was based on modern web technologies, such as Gulp.js system, which performs pre-defined tasks on files. To ensure the site is easy to manage, we based it on Drupal CMS. On the top of that, we integrated various Drupal modules to enhance dynamics of the site. Particularly noteworthy is the functionality created for the admin, who is able to manage content boxes by customizing their size, animation, look, structure and placement. (less)
The client is very satisfied with Merixstudio's work. In addition to creating a responsive website, Merixstudio decreased the website's response time to 1/10th and increased overall online traffic. The client highly recommends Merixstudio for their project management and design skills. "Merixstudio was very flexible and open to our opinions. We gave them a tight timeline, and they performed well under pressure. They worked very fast without compromising quality and stuck to tough deadlines."
We decided to rebuild our public website. Our website was outdated, was not responsive and the message that the site conveyed about our company wasn't accurate. It was based on obsolete technology and hosted locally, so we had a hard time securing fast responses to clients in remote countries.
They did a great job. We gave them a tight timeline, and they performed well under pressure. It required discipline from them and us in terms of communication, timely feedback, and timely reaction to feedback. It all worked very smoothly. Everything was delivered, and we didn't have any major issues. Of course, there were some minor corrections we were requesting, but that's normal. Merixstudio was very flexible and open to our opinions. They worked very fast without compromising quality and stuck to tough deadlines.
When we approached them, we already had some graphical design work for the website. We asked Merixstudio to build the website using those designs. They studied the designs and offered suggestions on how to improve them. We then defined what the structure of our pages should be, what text we want on each page, what pictures we wanted. Once we approved of their plans, Merixstudio developed the site. We gave them a very strict timeline: the entire project had to be completed in not more than 60 calendar days. They built the site in four language – English, German, Spanish, and Portuguese – to support as many of our clients as possible.
For Fantasy Club "Druga Era," the organizer of Pyrkon Festival, we have built a new website integrated with the administration panel. During six months of working on the project, together (more) with a team responsible for organizing Pyrkon, we prepared a new version of an existing website. The site is powered by Django that not only allows organizers to manage the content but also has been equipped with different modules needed for the management of specific sectors, among others, a planner module that allows synchronizing the work of organizers while planning the festival's agenda. Fully responsive project prepared for The Tubądzin Group – one of the leading Polish manufacturers of ceramic tiles. Merixstudio is an outstanding company. They provided us with great design and development skills. I really would recommend them. Overall, they are a fantastic supplier of IT services.
They were responsible for comprehensive implementation of the project (analysis, gathering requirements, specification preparation, mockups creation, graphic design, HTML templates and finally – integration with Drupal CMS system).
We provided various mockups, statistical documentation and referral documentation as the original concept of the project. Merixstudio used those concepts to design, develop, and test the website. They have been fully responsible for all of the technical aspects of the project. Merixstudio has also created dedicated sites for our business partners, such as architects and suppliers.
Merixstudio created a responsive website for us using Drupal CMS [content management system]. Merixstudio was involved in creating five different versions of the website as our website is available in five different languages.
Content-driven, modern and responsive (tablet, desktop) multi-site project created for Grammy Award winner jazz musician - Herb Alpert. Development was prepared in cooperation with our par (more)tner from USA. At the heart of the project there are advanced JavaScript implementations and highly interactive UI/UX elements. (less)
Fornebuporten, owned by Aker ASA, develops industrial, commercial and residential properties in Norway. We were invited to compete against 9 other agencies to completely re-design their c (more)urrent website. The purpose of the new Fornebuporten website was to build interactive experience to attract customers, mainly large corporations, within the oil and gas industry looking for new office spaces hosting their head offices. Working in close collaboration with Oslo team, we crafted an online experience that highlights uniqueness of one of the biggest construction projects in Norway and Scandinavia. By adopting the latest web standards we were able to build a responsive and asynchronous UI that gives focus to Fornebuporten's key values. (less)
Alabster is the luxury home linen & bedding sets retailer from Norway. With this project, the design focus was very much on emphasizing “Parisian Chic & Scandinavian Comfort”. The client is very satisfied with their partnership with Merixstudio. They highly recommend Merixstudio for their diligence and commitment to the project. "I think Merixstudio performed well in terms of coding and back-end technology. They are very good at what they do. The speed of the platform is outstanding."
We were looking for a developer to build a custom e-commerce platform for us.
Our partnership with Merixstudio is ongoing. The project has been completed, but we are going a step further. We're relaunching the whole site in a different design with more plug-ins and different revenue and business models.
Once we settled on the exact concept that we wanted for the platform, Merixstudio developed, tested, and launched the platform. We took benchmark sites that were similar to the functionality that we wanted to have, and we used those platforms as the foundation for our platform. They built the platform using Magento.

The client is very satisfied with their partnership with Merixstudio. The client highly recommends Merixstudio for their communications skills and efficiency throughout their long-lasting partnership. "We are very satisfied with their performance. They've been responsive and communicative. Merixstudio has delivered exactly what we were looking for."
We needed digital resources to accompany math textbooks we were making for students ages 14 to 16. They had the capacity to make the type of flexible tools that we were looking for.
To illustrate and reinforce presented concepts, two projects were created: - A series of constructions animations to show how to draw geometrical shapes and figures, with drafting instruments and to conduct formal proofs of geometrical theorems. - A suite of 8 versatile Interactive Tools that can be manipulated to explore key mathematical concepts, like: probability, fractions, percentage, sets and patterns. They're quite clear and specific in their questions. They look to understand the exact concept that you are looking to create. They make sure that they are as efficient as possible. It's a great partnership.
We provided Merixstudio with our requirements. We wanted users to be able to edit the tools, so the tools had to be flexible. Merixstudio developed wireframes based on the concepts that we provided for them. They developed the tools using HTML5, CSS3, and SVG. They also worked on the frontend design and user experience.

Merixstudio was very flexible and open to our opinions. They worked very fast without compromising quality and stuck to tough deadlines.
What did the service provider build or do for you? What was your project?
When we approached them, we already had some graphical design work for the website. We asked Merixstudio to build the website using those designs. They studied the designs and offered suggestions on how to improve them. We then defined what the structure of our pages should be, what text we want on each page, what pictures we wanted. Once we approved of their plans, Merixstudio developed the site. We gave them a very strict timeline: the entire project had to be completed in not more than 60 calendar days. They built the site in four language – English, German, Spanish, and Portuguese – to support as many of our clients as possible.
