Built with the powerful and user-friendly Django, the site makes easy for the Plania team to edit and update content.

Finally, we have integrated Web to Lead Form (an essential component of marketing and sales automation) from Salesforce, Plania's CRM tool, for all the forms used on the website. As part of an effort to improve attendance at the events and to gain deeper insight into the audience, an online event ticketing system (Spektrix) has been implemented. Event data from the calendar has been syndicated to other outlets including Web calendars, digital feeds, paper reports and on-campus digital signage systems.

Finally, with the new calendar we improved back-end functionality allowing for more efficient content management.

Post-launch results: "Since implementing the new calendar, we experienced a 25 percent increase in ticket sales and a 10 percent increase in traffic on our website." - said chief technology officer of the school.(less)
