Worksoft® Inc. is an automation technology company serving large-scale enterprises worldwide.Their software is used to automate business process testing & discovery. Their main manag (more)ement tool was in need of a front-end and design refresh. The UruIT UX/UI design team worked closely with the Worksoft team to develop a new user-friendly interface that was more modern. Originally there were no plans to change the technology but given that their tool was built in jQuery, our developers suggested that an investment in AngularJS would pay dividends in the long run. A main challenge was that Worksoft desired generic components that would be reusable and able to fit with other applications. While this took more time to figure out, our team was dedicated to finding a solution that worked, ultimately deciding to use Angular2. Worksoft was new to the agile methodology process but given how closely the engineers had to work together, the constant scrum meetings served to easily align the teams. The result is a stellar product with simplified, unified and reusable code using the most up-to-date technology. (less)

The project consisted on redesigning a product for a client in the Real Estate industry. The original product was a tool made for real estate brokers to offer and sell properties, the new pr (more)oduct needed to be designed for final users, allowing them to use the tool without the need of a real estate agent. UruIT’s UX experts used a user-centric design approach. The project included competitors analysis with benchmarking techniques, creation of wireframes for the entire site. After wireframes were validated the team built prototypes, defining interactions and micro-interactions that were validated with usability tests run by the client. UruIT was in charge of creating scenarios and scripts that would allow the client to run those tests. The final step of the project was the design of user interfaces. (less)

Integrating quality online data into a dynamic Geographic Information System mapping environment allows users to competently and consistently win business. STDB provides its members with a suite of tools, including a prospecting tool that provides business information for existing locations within an analysis area, a digital representations of the FEMA Flood Maps which can be overlaid on a street map or hybrid aerial map and a tool that allows users to download high resolution aerial photography based on point or address location. The application and tools are being built with Angular2 and NodeJS. The project involved the redesign of the web platform and three tools. One of the biggest challenges was to redefine and restructure tools that had been developed by different providers in the past. UruIT’s UX/UI experts used a user-centric design approach.
