A completely new gamification product. A web-based solution that pulls data in real time from several data source (Dynamics CRM, SQL Server, etc) and built leaderboards and rankings. It has a lot of game mechanisms, usability and look & feel were also vital for achieving a high-quality outcome.
End to end development, UX and native development. Features gamification techniques (leaderboards, badges) and low level phone interaction to record SMS, Calls, Calendar, among others
End to end development, UX, testing, deployment of a responsive social portal that allows the consumers of a Telecommunication company interact and upload videos in exchange of prizes and re (more)wards. (less)

After developing a web application for market research firm Gongos, UruIT was asked to perform and create a major upgrade of their existing outdated analytics platform. The platform now perf (more)orms advanced research and analysis tasks, not only keeping Gongos current with market demands, but also making them extremely competitive. UruIT worked as a tightly integrated team member with Gongos's in-house development team to choose the right technology platform to build the new dashboard. The Dashboards project was developed in AngularJS with an ASP.NET MVC (Model-View-Controller) back end. The new, customizable Dashboards platform allows Gongos to easily access and visually analyze data in real time and across multiple projects. Researchers can customize reports and generate charts, graphs, and grids based on users discussions and survey data, thus creating a rich, feature-heavy experience for users—a must in the market research industry (less)
Market research firm Gongos uses the power of user communities, surveys, and focus groups to analyze the data that it gathers, allowing its clients to make “customer minded decisions,” b (more)etter engaging with customers and product users. Gongos had an existing platform called Instinct, which was used to gather user inputs in order to aggregate opinion and behavioral data from voluntary users. Gongos needed to create a customizable web platform that would allow them to set up new, customized websites with the look and feel of each client company, and consistent with that corporate client’s own product website. These websites would host user communities for each Client Company or product, and each site would handle up to half a million users—thus it had to be fast, secure, and robust UruIT worked with Gongos’ own talented in house developers very closely.Gongos was already partial to Net MVC and Xamarin Mobile for the develop environment, and upon UruIT’s recommendation, they brought in Angular JS as a tool that allows for easy JavaScript development with lots of organization and structure. UruIT’s certified Agile SCRUM masters kept development and client teams closely aligned, emphasizing communication. UruIT also created the Restful API for third-party integration and upgraded the core database from a SQL server to Elastic Search and MongoDB, increasing scalability and performance. (less)
A startup based in California mission is to reinvent the process of employee schedule management in order to simplify the challenge of resource assignment. They desired a new app that both (more)managers and employees could use that would be optimized for web and tablet usage. Rather than creating a traditional employee-centered app, our UX specialists designed an innovative business-based scheduling approach using a flexible SaaS platform, which works for a variety of industries from retail to restaurants. Management and employee friendly features such as swap, drop and availability preferences were built on AngularJS using UruIT’s proprietary components framework. Our tech leads complimented the work by our UX team by providing a desktop like experience through via caching and services architecture. The inception investment put in by our UX and tech engineers coupled with an agile strategy resulted in a clean and intuitive app that will tremendously benefit the company’s clients across industry verticals. Worksoft® Inc. is an automation technology company serving large-scale enterprises worldwide.Their software is used to automate business process testing & discovery. Their main manag (more)ement tool was in need of a front-end and design refresh. The UruIT UX/UI design team worked closely with the Worksoft team to develop a new user-friendly interface that was more modern. Originally there were no plans to change the technology but given that their tool was built in jQuery, our developers suggested that an investment in AngularJS would pay dividends in the long run. A main challenge was that Worksoft desired generic components that would be reusable and able to fit with other applications. While this took more time to figure out, our team was dedicated to finding a solution that worked, ultimately deciding to use Angular2. Worksoft was new to the agile methodology process but given how closely the engineers had to work together, the constant scrum meetings served to easily align the teams. The result is a stellar product with simplified, unified and reusable code using the most up-to-date technology. (less)

The project consisted on redesigning a product for a client in the Real Estate industry. The original product was a tool made for real estate brokers to offer and sell properties, the new pr (more)oduct needed to be designed for final users, allowing them to use the tool without the need of a real estate agent. UruIT’s UX experts used a user-centric design approach. The project included competitors analysis with benchmarking techniques, creation of wireframes for the entire site. After wireframes were validated the team built prototypes, defining interactions and micro-interactions that were validated with usability tests run by the client. UruIT was in charge of creating scenarios and scripts that would allow the client to run those tests. The final step of the project was the design of user interfaces. (less)
In order to remain current with technology, global telecom giant Telefonica’s Movistar Uruguay division needed a total makeover of its user web portal. They had determined that not only wa (more)s a facelift necessary, but that there was major room for improvement if it was to stay current for its customers. That included a fully-featured mobile arm that would address user needs. UruIT created a fully-functional, feature-rich web and mobile experience. Movistar Uruguay saw instant results upon completion of the project: online use and transactions soared, customer experience and satisfaction improved while Movistar personnel costs decreased and retail store conversion went up. UruIT’s team is currently building STDB, a responsive web application for the Real Estate Industry, which provides the essential data and tools for the commercial real estate decision maki (more)ng process. Integrating quality online data into a dynamic Geographic Information System mapping environment allows users to competently and consistently win business. STDB provides its members with a suite of tools, including a prospecting tool that provides business information for existing locations within an analysis area, a digital representations of the FEMA Flood Maps which can be overlaid on a street map or hybrid aerial map and a tool that allows users to download high resolution aerial photography based on point or address location. The application and tools are being built with Angular2 and NodeJS. The project involved the redesign of the web platform and three tools. One of the biggest challenges was to redefine and restructure tools that had been developed by different providers in the past. UruIT’s UX/UI experts used a user-centric design approach. The process included heuristic evaluations, definition of personas and scenarios, wireframes that were validated by the client, interactive prototypes and mockups. (less)

We build products for today’s consumers, because we are today’s consumers. Longstreet Solutions is the creator of customer retention-focused marketing products and services, most notably Intelligent Email. Longstreet Labs was born out of our own need for developers who evaluated products not just by lines of code, but also by marketing strategies, customer personas, and user experiences. We couldn’t find them, so we built a team of them, and now that team brings your projects to life. Whether the website, mobile app, or product you have in mind is your first or your tenth, it’s your baby. You deserve to have a product built with your customers in mind from day one. (read more)

Spencer and Campus Bubble are so adept at listening and responding in a polite, professional manner. They as well as anybody know that the world of web/mobile apps are fraught with people asking for the moon (e.g. "can your app do this?"; "it'd be amazing if it could do that"), but Spencer takes this in stride and can immediately manage expectations in a way I don't usually see -- wish lists are never truly off the table, but he intimately knows the limitations of his team's time and resources, and yet still has been able to deliver functionality that pleases everyone. I know that sounds vague, but I've found it so invaluable when I need to manage OTHERS' expectations in our organization. Spencer also is great at providing timely updates and reaching out to constituents independent of myself. I fully trust him to talk to anybody at Emory Campus Life because I know he'll handle the conversation with care. He does presentations very well, knows when to talk and when to listen during them, and always has a mind for the higher purpose of the project -- that is, he doesn't get bogged down in the day-to-day, and knows how to make decisions from a 10,000 ft level. Finally, Spencer and his team have been very patient. While eager, their energy never comes across as a negative. Despite a launch on our campus that didn't quite take hold as well as we wanted to, the Bubble was more energized than ever to meet REPEATEDLY with students, staff, entire departments...all to better the product. Higher education can be a frustrating place to work in terms of slow-moving projects and limited funds, but Spencer has handled it all with grace and an infectious desire to keep working.
I honestly don't see any glaring areas for improvement -- I'm always a fan of *more* transparency, so I suppose more visuals would be nice in between the 2-week "sprints" that preclude the Bubble team's email updates. That said, the updates are well-written, and I'm sure they'd be happy to share progress further in case anyone followed up with those emails directly. Occasionally I have to manage expectations and that eagerness I mentioned earlier, which I think is a reflection of the Bubble team's overwhelmingly young ages, but it's hard to complain about a provider that is *too* eager to improve the product. Getting buy-in from an admittedly large organization doesn't happen overnight.
With a refreshing dose of humility. They'll be the first to tell you that the Bubble didn't latch on at Emory the first go-around, due mainly to technical capacity limitations. But the process to re-invent the product after that was great -- they directed all aspects, including organizing focus groups, ALWAYS heavily insisting for feedback, and rebranding in a way that never seemed internally demoralizing (to them). If there's ever been a case study for how to handle failure and come back better for it, they would be it. It sounds like hyperbole, but they have really impressed me with the way the product has grown since that failed lunch.
Our project was a full-service communications web/mobile app on a college campus. The university had abandoned its previous all-in-one platform a few years back, and recognized that a distinct hole was left behind -- administrators communicating with students had suddenly become much, much harder. The idea behind Emory Bubble was to recreate that magic in a hub that had "bubbles" for any number of organizations or concepts (e.g. individual courses, student-run organizations, feedback for renovations to a building, etc), and allowed for file-sharing, event postings, conversation, comments, likes, and structure for that organization or group. The amalgamation of all of this discourse is a public feed that is exclusive to the Emory community -- like Facebook, but better suited to our campuses' individual needs.
JPP needed a fresh new look for their logo and a modern, video-centric online portfolio and blog. Nightly Labs provided the logo design, web design, and web development services.
Product/abstract thinking was exemplary. Nightlylabs thought in terms of what the design was going to "say" to users, how it was going to communicate and interact, etc. And Nightlylabs effectively implemented those product ideas: the site is as clean and communicable as it was conceived to be.
Nothing comes to mind, the experience was that pleasant.
Part of what was so pleasant about the experience of working with Nightlylabs, was that weren't any such problems or issues. And if in fact there were, their internal quality processes were able to resolve them.

I am extremely satisfied with the work delivered by Ideas2IT Technologies. They go well beyond the project requirements to help the client when in need and provide extra value. There are no complaints to report. Ideas2IT Technologies is highly recommended to others.
Everything I would do differently would be internal to us in the way that we would manage external contractors. Nothing that they did wrong happened. All of the issues were related to our management processes.
They handled the development work very well. The project was managed smoothly. Whenever we were running late, Murali and Bhavani would throw in extra people into the project to speed things up. They are very hands on managers. Based on the scope of the project, they clearly well far beyond what they had to. That's what really impressed me!
We’ve got a Web-based system for aviation companies to manage their operations. We needed a development partner who would help us improvise the existing system. It was all backend and front-end software development.

Nothing comes to mind right now. There are always things that can be improved on both sides from a communication standpoint, but in general, they’ve done a very good job.
I think that they have shown remarkable dedication on some projects. Sometimes, they work all night, and I’ve been impressed with the dedication that they’ve shown in completing the projects and continuing to get the work done for the customers.
Ideas2it primarily did the development, and there was documentation of some of the technical development as well as quality assurance. I believe we’ve worked with them since 2006. It's been a long engagement. This has been one large, continuing development effort. It has some distinct aspects to it, but it has all been related to the work on this one product. However, by the nature of the product, it's been a platform for building other types of applications. Along the way, there have been some distinct, specific types of applications. That required different types of development. From a business standpoint, it's been one big development project.
Created a sophisticated video generation Engine to solve the content creation problem associated with Multi Channel Network. Video generation was performed by combining audio content with (more) stock photos leading to creation of long videos. A component was designed to aggregate large number of photos, cull unsuitable photos, categorize images based on various factors, and transform these images to a common format and size, These images were then consumed by video generation engine. I am satisfied with the work delivered by Ideas2IT Technologies. They finish projects on time with accuracy and care. They work fast and are very responsive. They just get the work done. I highly recommends Ideas2IT Technologies to others.
They are similar to other Indian firms in that they tend to listen only. They have started to give me more ideas and advice than before, but they generally just follow instructions. You really have to manage expectations and focus on communication. Communication is not their strong suit, but they work diligently. You really have to spell out what you want done because they tend to follow the steps you give them exactly. They could be more proactive, and their work isn't perfect. However, I am reasonable and know we are getting a good value and will stick with Ideas2IT.
They are good compared to other offshore firms. If you know what you are getting into with outsourcing work, these guys are good. They handled all issues that came up during development with quick turnaround times and a dedicated behavior. I have recommended them before.
We are an online education company that sells proprietary software. We already have a full team of developers in India. We work with a large team there that is very strong and capable. We just needed a second partner to handle smaller less important projects. We decided to try them for several small engagements. These projects are not critical. Generally, it is just backend coding for different purposes that Ideas2IT had to do for us. They have QA [quality assurance] capabilities, but they don't really handle that for us since we already have those capabilities in-house.
B2B suppliers need to connect to multiple e-procurement systems used commonly by their clients. Buyers could be on multiple platforms like Ariba, Coupa, SAP, etc. that have different protoco (more)ls. Hence, a B2B e procurement integration platform was developed which leverages Mule ESB by implementing P2P protocols like CXML and OCI to connect to SAP, Ariba, Coupa. Once the Supplier is set on this platform they can connect to various market places like ASN, Vinimaya, Sciquest. (less)
Ideas2IT was good at delivering project quickly and on time. Any concern or issue was immediately resolved. The communication was done on a regular basis to ensure that there were minimal issues.
I believe the company did a good job at development and was pretty good at project management and meeting deadlines. However, some more product related suggestions and ideas would be appreciated.
Any delays in project delivery were handled proactively. Everyone was kept in loop to ensure similar understanding between customers, developers, project managers and product owners.
The supplier created a procurement integration system that allowed suppliers to connect with multiple procurement platforms that buyers used for purchasing products. This reduced wastage of time and efforts on suppliers' end.
An iPad App coloring story series for parents who love to read to their kids and encourage their kids to read. The central Character of this story is Mo - the Dog, who is set on an adventure (more) trip in search of the owner of a valuable key he found back home. You don't have to be a large employer to be valued as a client by this company. They act as partners in every sense, watching your back at every turn. They helped convert my series of children’s coloring stories into apps that are now being sold on iTunes. The whole process was practically turn-key because of their excellent technical and communication skills. Since they are customer service savvy, they are also very flexible, readily adapting to changing business needs, and suggest ways to improve your product. They have earned my trust and loyalty.
Nothing comes to my mind right now.
They worked with me in resolving every issue at the earliest and very proactive in suggesting resolutions. Regular communication ensured that there was no lack of understanding between both parties.
The service provider built a color book mobile application for me. This project dealt with creation of an iPAD app story book for children which parents could use to read to their children. Children could also interact with the application by coloring images using a coloring tool.
The web and mobile application dealt with development of an incident management tool that allowed the call center to obtain alerts in case of any networking issues, raise and assign incident (more)s, manage incidents and on call personnels, meet SLAs, etc. Developed using J2EE, JAVA, Hibernate, etc. (less)
As part of our launch of our company, we engaged Ideas2IT to help build our first prototype and launch our first service. Ideas2IT was able to fill both roles and served a crucial role in the early development of the company. Ideas2IT brings lots of context to all principles areas of web and mobile technologies and is able to develop products that can quickly be iterated in the market based on customer and user feedback.
They have done a very good job on this project. I am sure that both sides could improve on somethings but nothing pops to my mind right now.
The team has been dedicated and often extended their work time to finish work. The management also understood client's requirements and often added resources at no expense to resolve the issue. Overall, I am satisfied with their work.
This project was about development of a web and mobile based incident management tool that would allow the support team to visualize alerts, raise and assign incidents, etc. The application had to support all aspects of incident management.

Sometimes, they work all night, and I’ve been impressed with the dedication that they’ve shown in completing the projects and continuing to get the work done for the customers. There are no complaints to report. Ideas2it Technology is highly recommended to others.
Where could the service provider improve?
Nothing comes to mind right now. There are always things that can be improved on both sides from a communication standpoint, but in general, they’ve done a very good job.

What did the service provider build or do for you? What was your project?
Ideas2it primarily did the development, and there was documentation of some of the technical development as well as quality assurance. I believe we’ve worked with them since 2006. It's been a long engagement. This has been one large, continuing development effort. It has some distinct aspects to it, but it has all been related to the work on this one product. However, by the nature of the product, it's been a platform for building other types of applications. Along the way, there have been some distinct, specific types of applications. That required different types of development. From a business standpoint, it's been one big development project.

Where could the service provider improve?
They are similar to other Indian firms in that they tend to listen only. They have started to give me more ideas and advice than before, but they generally just follow instructions. You really have to manage expectations and focus on communication. Communication is not their strong suit, but they work diligently. You really have to spell out what you want done because they tend to follow the steps you give them exactly. They could be more proactive, and their work isn't perfect. However, I am reasonable and know we are getting a good value and will stick with Ideas2IT.
How did they handle problems and issues that came up during development?
They are good compared to other offshore firms. If you know what you are getting into with outsourcing work, these guys are good. They handled all issues that came up during development with quick turnaround times and a dedicated behavior. I have recommended them before.
What did the service provider build or do for you? What was your project?
We are an online education company that sells proprietary software. We already have a full team of developers in India. We work with a large team there that is very strong and capable. We just needed a second partner to handle smaller less important projects. We decided to try them for several small engagements. These projects are not critical. Generally, it is just backend coding for different purposes that Ideas2IT had to do for us. They have QA [quality assurance] capabilities, but they don't really handle that for us since we already have those capabilities in-house.

The service provider built a color book mobile application for me. This project dealt with creation of an iPAD app story book for children which parents could use to read to their children. Children could also interact with the application by coloring images using a coloring tool.
