SumatoSoft
5 projects in CoffeescriptScalex is a custom ERP system developed for the Business Car Group, the largest Toyota and Lexus car dealer in Russia.
When looking for a strategic IT-partner for the development of a corporate ERP solution, we chose SumatoSoft. The company proved itself as a reliable provider of IT services. We are pleased to mention that the work is done fully, on time and on a high quality level. It complies with the requirements due to the highly skilled project team of our chosen partner. The work is fulfilled with due regard for the peculiarities of the project, namely: Domain complexity of the business solution; Raised standarts for the implementation rate; Early consideration of the system's scope and complexity when developing the solution's architecture. We recommend SumatoSoft as a reliable partner in the sphere of development and implementation of complex business solutions.
They are really quite good. I think that when they grow up, maybe it will be necessary to make some organizational changes for common things and questions as companies grow, but currently, we are satisfied.
They are a very young company and very strong and active guys. Very energetic is a better phrase. They can operate very proactively, by not only paper or contract, but also just listening to what the customer wants. Firstly, they try to satisfy us and they’re very professional with Ruby development. We use Ruby. They’re very good professionals. Many members of our team just started and got experience from SumatoSoft. They also help us to develop our people.
Their work is all software development. They helped us to develop software. It had a warranty. Part of the team was from SumatoSoft and the other part was our own internal development group, so they developed some functions and models for us.
Simplawyer is a web-based service enabling small and mid-sized companies to create single-type documents by means of native UI.
We are absolutely convinced that cooperation between companies is only successful when based on effective teamwork (and Captain Obvious is on our side!). But the teams may vary on the degree of their cohesion. With SumatoSoft LLC, we feel like a bobsled team - together in the same cockpit, aimed at the same targets. And this feeling is off the chart. We are sure that by aligning our efforts we will set new records and grab new medals.
I don’t really know right now. Perhaps something will come up during the current testing phase. Currently, I have no criticisms or suggestions.
They try to be part of a team, and I think they coped pretty well with that. What I personally liked is that they really took the initiative without going over budget. There were some things that were a bit unexpected for them in terms of their budget, but they never increased it for us, which was good for our partner relationship. They were quite flexible in terms of pricing. We were very comfortable in negotiating with them.
We needed to create an engine, which would look more or less like a word processor. Users should see the text on screen and they could edit in a few places and answer a few simple questions. In the end, they would get a PDF document. We were looking for people who could develop this engine, and not many firms were ready to do that. The guys from SumatoSoft wanted to do it and it seems to have worked well. It was all development work during the project with SumatoSoft. We already had the design and user experience work beforehand.

We’d like to thank SumatoSoft for the exceptional technical services provided for our business. It should be noted that we started our project’s development with another team, but the communication and the development process in general were not transparent and on schedule. It resulted in a low-quality final product. That’s why we were looking for a team, which would know how to be clear in their proposal, to be responsive to changes and to be on track of the schedule. SumatoSoft professionals met all the requirements we had. They managed to fix all the mistakes made by the previous team and to deliver the web solution of the highest quality within budget. Creativity and excellent tech expertise of the team in combination with the transparency of working process make SumatoSoft the best company to work with.
I can’t really think of anything off the top of my head. The whole working process was smooth and logical. Even if problems appeared, we worked on their solutions as one team having one goal. We've been very impressed with their work.
They really keep their word. They internalize their clients’ problems as their own, they do keep their word, and they do care about the results. That’s what I call a truly personal approach, and it really helps build trust.
First, we released the basic version of the portal to prove the viability of the business idea. SumatoSoft team was responsible for development, testing and support of the application. Today our UX/UI designer has made a new design. SumatoSoft is working on the next version of the portal, implementing new design and extending its functionality.
Sous Kitchen is a popular online service of homemade food delivery in the USA. The company works in California, Nevada, Arizona, Oregon, Washington.
The client aimed to develop an MVP (Minimum Viable Product) of a new Q&A service allowing users to create yes-no questions and get feedback from other users of the service.

I don’t know. The project works very well, and we're very happy with their work.
They are very sharp and have a high-quality team. I expect quality from people, and they have the kind of team I can work with. They were upfront about everything that needed to be done.
SumatoSoft developed the system for us. It was a pure development project. SumatoSoft took care of that completely and acted as a product manager. They got the complete specs, developed it, and it's in use now.

Nectarin LLC aimed to develop a complex Ruby on Rails-based platform, which would be closely integrated with such systems as Google AdWords, Yandex Direct and Google Analytics. We were looking for a professional outsourcing company to extend our in-house team and help us to solve difficult technical problems. We hold a large-scale tender to select a partner. Even at the tender stage, SumatoSoft team showed a desire to go deep into our project and suggested an architectural solution we liked. Other bidders, including top Moscow Ruby on Rails agencies, showed much less interest, sending formal business proposals with prices for their services. Therefore, we started to work with SumatoSoft. SumatoSoft team not only knew well how to build a partnership-based working process, but also offered sensible suggestions and advice helping us to reach the long-term business goals. We are completely satisfied with the results of our cooperation and will be happy to recommend SumatoSoft as a reliable and competent partner for development of web-based solutions.
Not really. It was my first big project. I would have done things differently on our side as far as prototyping and testing.
They are unique because they help the client reach their long-term goals with great advice. They have a proactive development team that offers regular suggestions. They gave us advice on how to do things better. They also helped our developers learn new methods. It was very good for our team. We understand better now how to develop software.
They did software development for us. The project team included three people from SumatoSoft and two people from our company.
Boxforward (former NYCMSK) is a freight forwarding logistics web-service. Using this service, customers outside the US can order various goods on a par with the US citizens, form a single pa (more)rcel and send it by any transport means. (less)
SumatoSoft was chosen to replace our previous development team and to work on relaunching our freight forwarding logistics web-service after careful research and several conversations. From the start and throughout the project, all communications and project management were very professional and the quality of code was very good and consistent. SumatoSoft team managed to improve the existing service architecture, add important features to our new site and warehouse management system and quickly respond to troubleshooting requests related to both the older and the newly launched versions of our service. Thanks to SumatoSoft can-do attitude, amazing work ethic and willingness to tackle client’s problems as their own, they’ve become an integral part of our team. We’ve been truly impressed with their professionalism and performance and continue to work with a team on developing new applications. We would definitely recommend SumatoSoft as a reliable technology partner for demanding development web projects.
Nothing I could think about
Just like pros, fast and at high quality level.
We have a freight and logistic service and needed a web application to manage it. SumatoSoft did the development job.

Pablo was very responsive and seemed equally vested in the project and showed increasing amount of interest which strengthened our working relationship with the company.
They assigned more support and experienced developers as needed to help push product out faster.
They were very responsive. We had a repository, in which anyone was able to create a ticket which then depending on the priority would get solved in the simultaneous product release.
They built our marketplace for hoteliers.
They are exceptionally strong technologists and use that strength in delivering creative, innovative solutions when challenges arise (as they always do with any technology project).
Nothing comes to mind. I am very happy with their team, communication and most importantly their work.
As I mentioned before, this is their area of greatest strength. My last project with them required a good amount of innovative thinking to solve for core challenges. The team at Devartis over-delivered every time.

Three things set us apart from an average dev shop: 1. Agile: highly collaborative, heavy communicators, transparent 2. UI engineering focus: our interfaces are lightweight, fast, intuitive and work well in a variety of browsers/devices. 3. Quality focus - we future-proof and test rigorously everything we build Our clients are product companies and digital agencies. Half of our work is web application development and another half is marketing sites and applications. We write enterprise-quality code for modern, lightweight, high-performance, responsive and progressively-enhanced user interfaces and single-page applications. We test and integrate. Full-stack expertise includes Node.js (over 6000 hours), Ruby on Rails (over 4000 hours), DevOps, QA and mobile development (both iOS native and hybrid). Our clients are UI/X agencies, product, and technology solutions companies. We've built features for web properties belonging to companies such as Bayada Nurses, Comcast, Farlex, Firstrust Bank, Jackson Hewitt, Remax, Sungard, Turnberry Solutions, W2O Group. In addition to presence in Philadelphia, we have two R&D offices in Eastern Europe: Ukraine and Montenegro. Our server-side expertise also includes Java, .NET/C#, Python (Django), PHP (Yii, Laravel), and a couple of CMS (WordPress and Drupal) . We are usually appreciated by teams that require quality, heavy communication and direct Agile-inspired interaction with developers. Our core expertise is in UI engineering, Ruby on Rails and Node.js. Our team is the best match for developing and supporting production applications, where quality, reliability and strategic approach to engineering is required. Speed and Function has been in business since 2006. Nick Gluzdov started building websites in 1994 and is now running technology for Xfinity Search, which is the 6th largest search engine in the US. We've had people on staff since 2009. As of February, 2016, we've filed over 90,000 hours in our time tracker. (read more)

Speed and Function the best dev shop I have worked with. I have heard so many horror stories of dev shops and that simply is not the case here. Their agile methodology conforms to our demands and they communicate clear paths to success and blockers that are in the way. I really appreciate their approach in that we have daily scrums so that I can keep track of the project and help fill in the gaps, where needed. Really great choice. I have never even heard of any dev shop doing better than the work I've seen through them! Contact me if you have spoken with them and want a referral.

Stone labs performed very well, consistently meeting our demanding requirements. They also provided valuable recommendations during the development. I would highly recommend them.
Taking into account that the customer does not always understand specific programming vocabulary that developers are using professionally. This would help prevent misunderstandings.
They’re conscientious and attentive to issues as they emerge.
The aim was to develop an Ipad presentation (e-detailer) for Bepanthen brand which will help sales representatives to communicate with physicians and establish brand awareness, increase familiarity, and facilitate sales. Stone labs developed software program (e-detailer) for iOS platform on turnkey basis, according to technical design specification. They also provided program testing services during the launch.
