We had Diligentitlabs build a Visual Force page that was an interactive deal screen for our customer to auto populate data from Contact records and Vehicle inventory records. The details included PDF forms to print, contract creation, buttons and actions to connect multiple objects, controllers, triggers, create new fields and field sets, merge-field logic, and apex sharing rules.
There are lot of emails we receive. Identifying fraud detection with those emails and identifying the risk is very important. This process is done leveraging Salesforce.com CRM technology.

There have been instances where we might have internally questioned someone in the house that a certain project with Clarity took. Ultimately, we were able to get down to the granular form—look at each individual hour, look at everything that happened. At the end of the day, if Clarity felt that, yes, after their code review and their time review that it did go over budget, they actually made up for that.

As a whole, we’ve been very impressed with the amount of output and work that Clarity’s been able to provide. Previously, whenever we did releases, our customer care center would instantly get a giant influx of calls for different areas of bugs because the previous developers weren’t doing good testing. With Clarity, it’s very rare that we have a post-release bug. If we were to have a post-release bug, oftentimes, those bugs are resolved within about five to six hours. They’re able to release and we’ll be back, fully up and running in a certain area that might be throwing the bugs. We’ve been impressed, and in the times that we’ve had any issue whatsoever with Clarity, they’ve been very open to sit down with us and go through the review process. In the few times that we’ve done it, they’ve actually come in and said, you know, we agree that this wasn’t what it was supposed to be, and they’ve actually credited us for those hours.

We have used in-house development for about 15 or 16 years. We are a small business, so we’ve only ever been able to afford one developer on hand at one time. There have been brief periods where we were able to get a few developers in-house on a short-term basis to ramp up certain software or completely overhaul our software. We’ve been under the same owner, but specifically, it was a family-owned business; the family split up the business and gave away different states to their family members. A couple of things. Typically, the design is done by us, and then Mobisoft implements it. However, there are certain designs that are very hard to implement or that could be implemented in a different, much easier way. Sometimes, the engineers know those alternatives. It would have been nice if those engineers had recommended some changes.

No. I’m very happy with the interactions and with them. They helped not only with this project, but they also had good suggestions about building a product video, which we put together on a shoestring budget. We ended up with good quality based on some of their recommendations. They were good partners and went above and beyond where we initially started. We had a very clever user interface. They were on budget and on time. Their project management and communications skills are good. They use Basecamp as a tool. That’s a product that I looked at maybe six years ago and started using. We brought it back into play, and I’m using it for about 10 of my projects.

It was a partnership for the design of the application. They have an extremely clever marketing and user interface capability. Number one, they’re affordable, and number two, we went in with a crude idea of what the intuitive interface would be. They had strong and interesting recommendations for moving away from the "blood and guts" perspective that might typically come out of a medical device. Our intuitive interface doesn’t have opthosclerotic plaque or a heart shriveling to show what happens as people age, or they develop cardiovascular disease. But it's based on the concept of having a maple leaf change colors as it would happen during fall foliage.

The client is a professor at Rice University who also works with Texas Medical Center, the largest medical center in the world.
