What did the service provider do well?
Mrinal was actively participating in the “thinking” process. As we had very limited technical background by our self at the moment we started the project almost 1 year ago, this was crucial for the success of the development process. The developers were also very flexible when we introduced changes during the process. I really appreciated the daily updates we’ve received from Mrinal. As a last strong point – and very important – Mrinal always respected the projected deadlines.

Knowing what we know today… If the company had offered a high quality frond-end designer and/or a UI specialist, I probably would have used that service / expertise. We tried to do some things by yourself which wasn’t always the most efficient way. I’ve learned as a customer that the customer isn’t always right. note: we also never asked for it.

Very well. I can’t recall a problem which wasn’t solved with the highest priority. The team was almost always available - even with the time zone difference.

No. I’m very happy with the interactions and with them. They helped not only with this project, but they also had good suggestions about building a product video, which we put together on a shoestring budget. We ended up with good quality based on some of their recommendations. They were good partners and went above and beyond where we initially started. We had a very clever user interface. They were on budget and on time. Their project management and communications skills are good. They use Basecamp as a tool. That’s a product that I looked at maybe six years ago and started using. We brought it back into play, and I’m using it for about 10 of my projects.

It was a partnership for the design of the application. They have an extremely clever marketing and user interface capability. Number one, they’re affordable, and number two, we went in with a crude idea of what the intuitive interface would be. They had strong and interesting recommendations for moving away from the "blood and guts" perspective that might typically come out of a medical device. Our intuitive interface doesn’t have opthosclerotic plaque or a heart shriveling to show what happens as people age, or they develop cardiovascular disease. But it's based on the concept of having a maple leaf change colors as it would happen during fall foliage.

They are willing to polish the final product until I am happy with the level of quality, which is awesome. Agicent has many iOS engineers with different areas of expertise. Occasionally they contribute to specific technical challenges so that no time is wasted and everyone learns from each other.

I think the team could have been a little more communicative upfront. I wanted to be very involved with development decisions, and I think they are used to handling things on their own. With time, communication did improve, and we got into a good rhythm of working together.

He delivered on a project with an extremely tight deadline working in less than ideal conditions including an inherited code base that was extremely poorly coded. He cleaned up the code, got everything working including adding new functionality

In all honesty, I couldn't have asked for more than he delivered. He did a fantastic job with the project and delivered on time. Additionally, we found a bug after release due to Apple's emulator not working the same way as the app on the device a month after he left. Ahmad came back to fix it at no charge.

He worked late to ensure that the project was delivered on time to meet the client's demands. It was a very sensitive project and he helped up meet the timeline.
